Do you want to switch that keyboard for a dashboard?

If you’d like to see if a future working in plumbing, carpentry or plastering is for you, join us for a free, women-only trades taster day.

Open to residents and non-residents, you’ll get to try your hand at each discipline and get advice from our professional tradespeople.

There are 30 places available on the taster day, which runs from 9.30am-3.30pm and includes lunch.

Want to give it a go?

We have reached the maximum number for this session and applications are now closed.  Please email Leo Galloway at myworksteps@sovereign.org.uk if you have any more questions.

What happens after the taster day?

You may be able to apply for one of our two-week trades work experience placements, which runs from 29 November – 9 December.

If you enjoy the work experience, you can then keep an eye out for trainee positions.
